Investigation of unopened La Voulte nodules (Callovian)

Descriptif du projet

A few years ago, a researcher from SMNS gave to MNHN a collection of about 30 unopened nodules from La Voulte-sur-Rhône. These nodules are known to contain exceptionally preserved callovian organisms, including arthropods, cephalopods and some vertebrates. Opening these nodules often damage the specimen inside, so scanning them will allow a non-destructive study of potentially important specimens.
