Project title
PALEOPATHOLOGIES OF THE CLAVICLES OF THE MEGATHERIUM AMERICANUM CUVIER 1796 (XENARTHRA, MAMMALIA) (GIANT GROUND SLOTH) FROM THE PAMPEAN PLEISTOCENE (ARGENTINA)
Description of the project
The aim of the project is to define and describe a series of palaeopathological conditions macroscopically detected in Megatherium americanum clavicles from MNHN collections. The material was review personally in 2015, when I was developing my Erasmus Mundus PhD. By that time, I saw abnormal accretional bone in these specimens which will be better observed with the 3D scanning.
