Description of the project

The aim of this study is to characterize the hominins diversity of Java by exploring the internal dental morphological and morphometrical features. This study would imply a better understanding on the history of ancient human occupation in the ISEA during early to terminal Pleistocene, from the first appearance of early hominins to the extinction of Homo erectus and the emergence of Homo sapiens.
