- Description of the project
- The requested CT scans of fossil fish specimens housed in MNHN will contribute to a funded project that traces patterns of morphofunctional diversification during the origin and radiation of the Acanthomorpha (spiny-finned fishes). A large CT dataset (>100 specimens) has already been assembled for taxa ranging from the Cretaceous to the Eocene. The requested MNHN specimens will fill in important gaps in our taxonomic coverage.
